To get a good idea of the types of materials I use in class, review the Canvas course work sites.  You will view links to outside sites,  narrated Power Points and videos.

 

Overall, I do not rely heavily on a textbook.  I like to use a lot of interactive course materials to promote engagement with what students are learning.  It is mentioned in many of my student evaluations how the group activities in class were benefical.  I also use guest speakers.  I have found students will listen more carefully to a new face.  Guest speakers can bring the most current ideas and trends to the classroom.  I supplement readings with current news.
