Service to my Communities

Throughout my life, I have tried to give back to the communities around me whom have had an impact.  I have gone from being a volunteer at local schools, to being the Director of a recreational soccer club, to  delivering meals to housebound individuals during the holidays.  Most of my service to my community has been related to personal issues and organizations related to those.  I am not comfortable making what I do in private displayed to my workplace.  I try to keep my personal life separate from work.  I can tell you I have used my experiences and trainings acquired in my profession to augment what I do in the community and vice-a-versa.  I have displayed my committment to service by having a relationship with the Thayne Center.

I fully believe I am deserving of the rank advancement to full Professor.  My career at Salt Lake Community College has been remarkable. I will continue as always to seek out new and better ways to do things.  I am committed to giving  all I have to serve the students and the college community.  If I receive the advancement, I will continue to work beyond just my assigned duties.
